How can I remove pet urine stain from linoleum?
Our puppy was urinating unnoticed on a bathroom rug. We now have a stain on the linoleum. We've tried Mr. Clean Eraser...any other ideas?
First it needs to be DISINFECTED.
Try using Clorox cleanup, some soft scrub (with bleach) and a scrub brush. Scour the area rinse, let air dry and see what happens.
There is a product out there called "Urinegone" and it's supposed to eliminate the urine etc. If the clorox doesn't work you can try that.
Clorox also just introduced a product called grout and tile cleaner. It's supposed to be a super strong tile cleaner. I used it recently and it worked pretty well.
Soft Scrub also introduced this new foam action sprayer, that stuff is amazing so try that as well.
If all else fails buy a new rug and cover it up.

I don't enjoy cleaning, at all! But, I do like when I find a quality product that makes my cleaning life easier. The following are a few of my favorites. They not only make cleaning less of a hassle but they keep a few extra dollars in my pocket book.
Magic Eraser. The name says it all, including the fact that I have no idea what is in a Magic Eraser...although I have read it is safe to use. Point is, this product works great. It removes almost any stain from any room in my house. At around $5 a piece, it saves me a lot of money that I used to spend on expensive, and smelly, cleaning sprays. Fur-Zoff. This is a product that every cat and dog owner should use, but no one knows about it yet. It removes pet hair from most all fabrics. Kind of like a lint roller but better. Here's why: Fur-Zoff is made from recycled materials, it lasts nearly forever, and it physically works better than a lint roller. Not to mention it costs $10, whereas a lint roller costs $3 a pop, 30 times a year...you do the math; it saves you money. They sell them directly at their site at http://www.FurZoff.net. Baking Soda. It's the oldest trick in the book and probably the best! I use it mostly in the bathroom and the kitchen. Works wonders in the sink. Just get the surface damp, pour some on and let it sit for a half an hour. It does the work for you. Squeeze a little lemon juice down the drain you are down. Again, this will save you money on what would be spent on expensive, hazardous cleaning products.
These are just a few of my favorites when it comes to cleaning around the house. They make my life easier and I hope they do the same for you.
