Sonicare replacement heads?

Does anyone know which replacement brush heads will fit my Sonicare toothbrush. Its an old model but I dont know the model number. The company I got them from last time have gone out of business. The heads are colour coded (pink, green,blue and white). Think its a 'a series' . I think Sonicare does a universal one (Elite?) which may fit but if I buy from ebay you cant return them if there not right. I'm loathe to buying a new toothbrush at £100+ when this one works perfectly. Thanks

The Elite is the one with the conical collar on the head that screws down onto the body. The newer ones have a different attaching mechanism. I think all the conical ones are the same. I had the same problem a few months ago. There's no model number or name anywhere on the toothbrush or charging stand.

The Sonicare elite 7500 delivers its 31,000 strokes per min sonic care toothbrush to the peak of the Sonicare food chain in terms of functionality. Sure the 9000 series has a few additional luxuries to help personalize the toothbrush, but the 7500 series is the best powered toothbrush to be produced by Sonicare for users that are just looking for a good performing toothbrush without all the bells and whistles of the high priced toothbrushes.

The Sonicare Elite 7500 has really made a name for itself, and its biggest improvement comes from the newly designed brush head. The new Sonicare replacement heads are angled precisely and are much smaller than past models, allowing for better cleaning in all the hard to reach and high plaque areas. But that's not the only good part about these heads; the other comes from the fact that all of the Sonicare toothbrush heads are interchangeable with other models and that since the shaft of the toothbrush heads are much thinner, better strokes are transferred to the bristles.

Those aren't the only features. The toothbrush itself comes with two speed technology. The max speed setting allows for dentist quality speed to give you that wonderfully clean sensation. For sensitive users however, the max speed feature may be too tough on the gums and may discourage new users. Sonicare took care of that with its reduce speed mode for a gentle brushing action that effectively cleans while not causing heightened sensitivity.

Add on the Quadpacer timer which beeps every 30 seconds to tell you to switch to another section of the mouth. After 2 minutes, the recommended brushing time, the toothbrush automatically and conveniently shuts off.

I've been using the Sonicare Elite for quite some time now. The toothbrush is absolutely amazing, effectively reducing the amount of plaque along my bottom front teeth, a problem I was always having before usage.

The Quadpacer really assisted me. Manual toothbrushes prevented me from keeping track of time and I felt like I never brushed for the full 2 minutes. I highly doubt I ever effectively reached a minute and a half of brushing with my manual toothbrushes. With the Sonicare Elite 7500, I have to brush for the full 2 minutes or else I will feel as if a section of my teeth isn't cleaned.

The only problem comes from the Sonicare replacement brush heads. Sonicare suggests that you change your brush head every 6 months, 3 months is a more accurate time frame as the brush tends to wear out by then. My suggestion is to store a few Sonicare replacement heads in your bathroom cabinet, since the time frame for the head's tends to vary and you don't want to be stuck without one.
