Odor Stink Freshener

Stinky litter box--I'm at my wits end!?

I don't know what to do to control my cats' litter box odor. I've tried every available commercial clumping litter (Tidy Cats, Scoop Away, etc.), crystal litter, crystal blend litter, Yesterday's News, I've tried baking soda in the litter box, Tidy Cats litter box deodorizer, one of those gel air fresheners that's supposed to absorb odors, and today, I bought Nature's Miracle litter. My cats are very clean animals and have been very patient with me messing around and changing their litter, lol. They're eating Natural Balance cat food (free of corn gluten, wheat, etc.) yet their litter box stinks to high heaven and the poop smell lingers even after they've covered it up and I've cleaned the box (I clean it daily--sometimes twice. What can I do?? Is there a great litter out there (price isn't an issue--I'll pay anything!!) that has long lasting odor control, or is there some type of supplement I can give my cats to make their poop less stinky?? HELP!

High quality cat food is nutrient-dense; thus, it is utilized very efficiently by the body and means very little waste. What is deposited in the litter box does not have a foul odor.

Natural Balance is a good brand but not all their formulas are created equally. Best for a cat is meat protein, grain-free, no glutens and no by-products, and preferably wet food rather than dry. It is very difficult to make a dry cat food without fillers, etc.

No fish products; cats don't need fish and it can be toxic to some cats. So get high quality, grain-free canned meat such as turkey, chicken, lamb, rabbit, etc...no fish. No grains. And if you knew what by-products really are, you would never feed them to any pet!

If you try a better quality food, give it a couple weeks, then see if there is a difference. The difference should be quite noticeable...a lot less waste and little to no stink. If there is still a problem, especially with just one of your cats, the cat may have a food allergy that would need to be determined in order to avoid that ingredient in its diet.

Use only clumping litter so you can remove deposits as soon as possible.
