How to remove light blue dot from sneaker?

my sneaker is white and it got dirty, I used some toothpaste with a toothbrush trying to clean it. IT got cleaned but the front part that had some small holes now have some light blue dots. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?
EDIT: it's a really faded blue spot surrounding the holes at the front of the shoe
and the shoe material is like leather
