Floss Toothpick

How can I get my gums to go 'down'?

Since I got my braces my gums got really puffy, but there's no room to floss between my braces + gums. I use toothpicks, floride, brush my teeth well, everything. Nothing seems to work. Thanks!

i know exactly what youre talkuing about!!
keep on flossing and using the little brush-pick like thing that your ortho gave you to get all the plaque away from your braces..ive used this antibacterial mouthwash called "oro-cleanse" which you can try getting from your ortho or dentist..but then the cheaper and easier route: go to your drugstore and buy this antibacterial mouthwash called sterisol. it kills the bacteria in your mouth and if you use it 2 or 3 times a day ATLEAST every day for 2-3 weeks, you should see a difference
ive tried all this stuff i still find that my gum are inflamed, but then again i just have sensitive gums..so give ti some time and if it persists talk to your ortho and /or dentist about what else you can try...otherwise youll probabaly jsut have to wait till you get your braces off and keep brushing your teeth well
